A two-stage Falcon 9 rocket launched from launch complex 39A at NASA's KSE (Kennedy space center) at 3:14 a.m. EDT (9714 GMT), 23rd cargo resupply mission (CRS) to the orbiting lab for NASA. The dragon is blasted off with more than 4,800 pounds (2,200 kilograms) of supplies, scientific experiments and hardware, including a new robotic arm that will be tested inside the space station Bishop Airlock. After liftoff:- After liftoff, the falcon 9's first stage returned to Earth less than eight minutes. Thant is the 90th successful landing of an orbital Class rocket. The robotic Dragon will arrive at the station on Monday morning (Aug,30).
