 James Webb Space Telescope, will launch on December 18 on an Ariane 5 rocket.

James Webb space telescope will launch on December 18, NASA said Wednesday. Space observatory, which is a joint project by NASA, the European Space Agency and the Canadian Space Agency, will blast off on an Ariane 5 rocket from Spaceport in French Guiana. currently stowed at Northrop Grumman's facilities in Redondo Beach, California, where it is awaiting shipping. Astronomers hope that the James Webb Space Telescope will supercharge the discovery of alien worlds.
